Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 28, 2026
1. Information collected
Signal Share collects account information you provide directly, including your display name, email address, password-based login credentials handled through the authentication provider, and the content you publish or send through the service.
2. How information is used
- To create and maintain member accounts.
- To publish feed posts, power direct messaging, and sync app features across devices.
- To operate notifications, moderation, abuse handling, and platform security.
- To store your settings and preferences on your device or account.
3. Sharing
Information is shared with the service providers used to run Signal Share, including hosting, authentication, storage, and push notification infrastructure. Public posts and profile display names can be visible to other members depending on the feature involved.
4. Member content and messaging
Posts, profile information, and direct-message data are stored so the service can function. Admins or operators may access data when needed for support, moderation, abuse review, security, or legal compliance.
5. Cookies and local storage
Signal Share stores local preferences and may use browser storage, cookies, or device-level storage to remember settings, sessions, and playback state. If you use optional third-party embeds, those providers may apply their own policies. Additionally, other apps or media services on your device or account may be accessed for media use and integration within the site/app.
6. Retention
Data is kept for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain records, resolve abuse or security issues, and comply with legal obligations. Specific records may remain in backups or logs for a limited period.
7. Your choices
You can stop using the service at any time. Depending on how the service is administered, you may also be able to request account or content removal. Some operational or legal records may still need to be retained.
8. Updates
This policy can be updated as the service changes. New signups accept the current version during account creation.
